BUNGENDORE
COUNTRY MUSTER 2004
The 2004 Country Muster was
staged from the 29th January to 1st
of February, and presented a
great line up of artists once
again. The entertainment staged
in the village on the Thursday
and Friday evenings featured the
popular Busking Competition, and
the Bush Poets Breakfast at
Elmslea Homestead.
SATURDAY ENTERTAINMENT
The festival commenced
at the showgrounds on the
Saturday and run until 6pm Sunday.
Saturday artists included Charley
Boyter Muster Band, Bob Easter,
Melissa Bajric, Norma O' Hara
Murphy, 2004 Star maker winner,
Victoria Bailey- winner 2003
Parkes A.C.T. , Johanna
Hemara - Winner 2003 NSW
& ACT Champions Showcase,
Winner of A.B.B.A Star Quest 2004
Matt Manning, Gail & Lindsay
Hammond, Meggan Carswell and
Brian Young.
STAN COSTER MEMORIAL BUSH BALLAD
AWARDS
An integral part of
Bungendore since 1998 with the
Stan Coster Memorial Awards
attracting near record
nominations again this year from
across four states. The Awards
presentation took place 8pm
Saturday night, followed by the
finalists concert, with all
finalists invited to perform
backed by the Lindsay Butler and
the Butler Band.
SUNDAY ENTERTAINMENT
Sunday's Concert
commenced at 10am, and featured
Ernie Constance, Double Decker
Dave (McCallum), Terry Gordon,
Owen Blundell, Brian Letton,
Shaza Leigh, Glenn Jones,
Charmaine Pout, Keith Jamieson
and more. The Lindsay Butler band
supplied the backing.
The Bungendore Muster was again a
huge success.
