In January 2016 the A.B.B.A. continues to bring the members and supporters excellent bush ballad and variety traditional style shows at the “Balladeers Homestead”.

The "Balladeers Homestead" will operate from Friday 15th - Friday 22nd January 2016.

Once again the Salvos will operate their canteen from Monday 18th– Friday 22nd with quality hot and cold food, snacks and drinks at a very reasonable price.
Please support them if you can.

Show intervals prior to the 18th will be supplied by tea, coffee and bickies.

With a swag of original and old favourite songs, lots of musical variety and a good dash of humour up their sleeve, the Peter Coad & The Coad Sisters Show has something for everyone. Constantly touring, the Tamworth 2015 show includes the legendary Jim Hermel live on stage.

9am — 'DAUGHTERS OF COUNTRY’ SHOW

ANNE KIRKPATRICK and DIANNE LINDSAY will be presenting their very special show.
This show will feature the legendary music and the family memories from two of Australia’s best-known country music families and will be a real country music treat as both Anne and Dianne hail from what can only be called Australian country music royalty. Anne is the daughter of Slim Dusty and Joy McKean and Dianne is the daughter of Reg Lindsay and Heather McKean. Both are established multi-award winning artists in their own right.
They will perform a number of their respective father’s songs and also present songs of their mothers (The McKean Sisters) as well as their own music. Peter Simpson will showcase his unique bush ballad style of guitar playing and some members of the family may be there.
The setting for this show is intimate and acoustic and anyone who enjoys true, traditional country music and is interested in our Australian country music history will find this show a must-see.
