The Tamworth festival, is a time for artist members to come together
to present new songs and new albums etc....
Every
year the A.B.B.A presents the popular A.B.B.A. Members Showcases at
the "Balladeers Homestead" (Salvation Army Hall) Goonoo Goonoo
Road venue.
NEW GUIDLE LINES INTRODUCED
In 2009, the A.B.B.A has introduced the following criteria, to help
the showcases run on time and artist guidelines re the showcases.
1. Song limit per artist two (not exceeding 10mins).
2. All members must apply in writing to A.B.B.A secretary
(to perform).
3 . No grubby jokes or stories. Persons doing so will not be on the
"Homestead" programs in the future
Previous Members Showcase criteria remains the same:
ONLY AUSTRALIAN BUSH BALLAD or ORIGINAL
MATERIAL performed on the A.B.B.A Members Showcases.
TO APPLY for the Members Showcases, the artist MUST
BE a current member of The Australian Bush Balladeers Association.
Artists must advise what days/times they are available during the festival.
All efforts will be made to fit the artist into preferred time slots...
or if slot unavailable ...within that hour of that Showcase.....
There is no renumeration for Members Showcase appearances.
Artists featured on the Showcase are welcome to sell their CD/s (if
CD/s available) at the Artist's Stock table available.
